My love affair with writing started early. At 7 years old, I wrote my first novella, The Valentine Girl, and proudly taped it to my 2nd grade cubby.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in advertising and worked in public relations and marketing for eight years before my passion for books drew me back to teaching. After receiving a Master of Arts in teaching, I taught English Literature and writing before undertaking my next big adventure—parenthood!
My writing has been published in Southern Coastal Weddings, Savannah Magazine, Mamalode, Literary Mama, Noteworthy, PS I Love You and elsewhere. In 2018, my short story, What He Carried, was a semi-finalist for the William Faulkner Society Short Story Contest. You can usually find me at home with my husband and three boys. Currently, I’m working on my second suspense novel which explores parenting, identity and the cut throat world of elite travel basketball.
